Email archiving

An automated approach to capturing, preserving and protecting email messages so that they can be accessed at a later date should the need arise. Archived emails are stored in a form that can be digitally stored, indexed, searched, and retrieved. Email archiving is applied to both inbound and outbound email communication.

Email archiving enables fast retrieval of email messages. Most archive service providers provide a user-interface to simplify query construction.

Companies may choose to archive their emails for regulatory compliance to protection mission critical data and/or for e-discovery processes in the case of litigation or internal investigations (who said what, when did they say it, what happened when). Read more email archiving benefits.
