Malware

Is short for Malicious Software. It refers to software or code developed by cybercriminals with the intent to cause damage to data and/or systems, steals data and/or cause havoc. It is a collective name for malicious softwares including viruses, worms, Trojans, ransomware, spyware and other harmful programs that hackers use to cause destruction to computer systems or networks and/or to gain access to sensitive company or personal data.
