Junk mail

Also sometimes referred to as spam email is unsolicited mail that consists of mainly requests for donations, sales catalogs, advertisements or promotional messages. Junk mail is often held in the junk mail folder or spam folder. Should a genuine email be accidentally caught up in your junk mail folder, most email services allow you to choose to move such emails to your inbox or mark as Not Spam so that they do not end up in this folder in future.
